This is a 12 foot wide paved trail connecting Wakara way in the University of Utah Research Park to Pollock Road in Fort Douglas. This project includes the following scope of services (not all-inclusive): site preparation, installation of paving, rock wall construction, fencing, electrical/lighting, signage/striping, and coordination with a landscaping company (pre-selected by the University). The project will require interfacing with various entities including representatives from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City Public Utilities, Fort Douglas, the Marriott Hotel and the University of Utah Real Estate Administration. The selected contractor will be responsible for working with an assigned inspection firm. Portions of the project are within the Red Butte Creek corridor. This is a riparian corridor. The selected contractor will need to provide means/methods appropriate for minimizing impacts to this area.
