Request for bids to provide design, fabrication, and delivery of eight (8) complete galvanized tapered tubular steel substation static masts AND fabrication and delivery of seventy-eight (78) complete galvanized standard shape substation structures with all necessary components and incidentals as shown in the project bid items, bill of materials, and plans. All questions must be answered in online. No emailed, faxed or phone call question related to this bid will be responded to. The deadline for submitting questions on this bid is June 18, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required with your bid response. A Performance Bond will be required upon notification of award. Question Cutoff Date 6/18/2021 06:00:00 PM (ET) No pre-bidders conference will be held for this project. All questions concerning the plans, specifications, or bid documents shall be submitted to the Buyer at tsmith@garlandtx.gov no later than 5:00 pm on the 18th Day of JUNE, 2021. Bids shall be accompanied with a Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable with recourse to the City of Garland, from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interest of the City may require to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
