The project consists of the following work: This project involves installation of approximately 685 LF of 4-inch DI pipe to replace private services installed in an existing utility easement. The project includes installation of a temporary 2-inch HDPE above ground waterline in order to provide water service during installation of the permanent 4-inch water main. All seven water services will be relocated from Holmes Point Drive NE to within the easement limits along the private road. This project also includes installation of one blowoff assembly, one 4-inch tapping tee and valve, abandoning in place seven existing water services on Holmes Point Drive NE, reconstruction of the existing private road, a full width overlay of Holmes Point Drive, and landscape and surface restoration as necessary to restore the site to existing conditions. Each bid must, be submitted on the "Proposal" forms provided in Section 5 of the "Specifications, Proposal and Contract Documents" and shall be accompanied by a bi proposal deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cashier's check or certified check made payable to King County Treasurer, King County, Washington for a sum of not less than 5 per cent of the total bid.
