This is a two-phase invitation process. Bidders responding to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) must submit a bid in two phases. During Phase One, Bidders are invited to submit bids according to the selection procedure described in Phase One. Bidders will only have to submit the Phase One documents included in the ITT. Under Phase One, CSC will assess Bidders' qualifications and experience in order to determine which bids are responsive. Once Phase Once bid evaluation is completed, CSC will advise bidders of whether or not their bid is responsive. During Phase Two, CSC will invite Bidders who submitted responsive bids for Phase One to submit a bid for Phase Two. Responsive Bidders will have to submit the Phase Two documents included in the ITT as part of Phase Two. This project consists of a renovation and new addition on an existing building at Mission Minimum Institution, 33737 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission BC. The renovation area is 206.3m2 and the new addition is 25.8m2. The Mechanical contractor must remove the existing piping and HVAC services, repair of existing pipework, and install the new equipment. Underground plumbing services have been completed by others. The contractor must provide hoisting and handling of materials and all necessary equipment. The contractor must decommission and remove the existing rooftop HV-1 (Heating Vent-1) upon the commissioning and start up of new AHU-1 (Air Handling Unit-1). The contractor must provide fire stopping for any mechanical penetrations through fire rated barriers.
