Coverage of this report has been discontinued. The City of Lachute wishes to receive bids for work to extend Barron Avenue, approximately 500 meters in length. The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new water and sewer systems, retention basins as well as a new roadway. To be considered, the bid must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days following the deadline set for receipt of bids. The tender must be accompanied by a tender guarantee in an amount at least equal to ten percent (10%) of the value of the tender, issued by an institution holding an insurer's license in Canada and recognized by the Financial Markets Authority. The tender must also be accompanied by a letter of intent to issue a performance bond and a bond guaranteeing labor, materials and services, each for a value of fifty percent (50%) of the value of the tender, issued by an institution holding an insurer's license in Canada and recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers.
