Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a educational facility.
This project is a facility replacement of the existing Jackson Davis Elementary School, originally constructed in 1962. The work consists of constructing a new two-story, 34-foot tall elementary school to replace an aging, campus-style school on the same site. Construction will occur while students occupy the existing buildings, and no portable classroom units are anticipated. As of July 25, 2024, per owner, this project has already bid and construction has started. A contractor and design team have been identified.
