The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, plant, power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work in accordance with the Contract. The Contractor shall also obtain and pay for all required permits to complete the Work. Any labor, materials and equipment that have been omitted in the description of the Work, but that are necessary or proper for the completion of the Work, shall be furnished by the Contractor at its sole cost and expense. The Contractor shall protect the Work during construction, clean up the Site and maintain the Work until Final Acceptance The scope of work under this Contract is to provide the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to construct and rehabilitate street medians along Beach 67 th Street (between Thursby and Almeda Avenue) in Queens, New York, to address the major flooding issues using the existing assets (Medians) and incorporating Green Infrastructure elements along the length of the Beach 67th Street. The Work includes, I. Rehabilitation of the existing three (3) Beach 67th Street medians between Thursby and Almeda Avenues to construct Green Infrastructure. II. Reconstruction and Extension of Street Median along the intersection of Beach 67th Street and Almeda Avenue. III. Pavement Resurfacing along Beach 67 th Street (between Thursby and Almeda Avenues) IV. Pedestrian ramp improvements for ADA compliance at the intersection of Beach 67th Street and Almeda Avenue and Beach 67 th Street and Thursby Avenue V.
