Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 This project will consist of selective repair of the existing HVAC System and upgrade of the existing Direct Digital Controls System at the Estill County Courthouse. Generally, the replacement/upgrade consists of work related to mechanical, testing and balancing, temperature controls and electrical. A certified check made payable to the Estill County Fiscal Court, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish and pay for Satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds shall be executed by a Surety Company possessing an A.M. Best Company rating of A- or better and which holds a Certificate of Authority issued by the Department of Treasury and shall be listed as an acceptable surety in the Circular; published annually as of July 1 and licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time for the receipt of bids. The Estill County Fiscal Court shall reserve the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to bidders. Any bid that is not submitted in the proper form will not be considered.
