Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,404-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Building shall be completely sprinkled, including all toilets, attic spaces, and concealed spaces, skylights, closets, mezzanines, storage areas, stairs, elevator shafts, mechanical duct and piping shafts. Building shall have sprinkler heads in concealed spaces, attic spaces and spaces where ceilings are dropped below combustible construction. Concealed and attic spaces and all spaces subject to freezing shall be protected with Dry-Pipe system. Sprinklers shall be centered in all 2' x 2' ceiling tile areas. The system shall be designed by hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA 13. Contractor shall make arrangements with County, at the time of construction, to obtain current computer simulated flow test or to flow hydrants on site to determine flow and pressureavailable for hydraulic calculations (and determine if a fire pump is required, and if one is required, size and provide). The Contractor shall make available to the Owner a maintenance contract proposal to provide inspection, testing and maintenance of the sprinkler systems for a period of two years from the date of completion.
