Renovation of a stadium in Daly City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
California Construction Authority ("CCA") will be receiving sealed bids for the following public works project: NORTH HALL ROOF MODIFICATIONS AND REPLACEMENT COW PALACE EVENT CENTER ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: $850,000.00 The project consists of all labor, equipment, and incidental materials to modify roof windows, install skylights and vents in the hatch/vent openings, removing the existing roofing system, and install a new roofing membrane system. The Bidder is required to possess a California Contractors B License that is active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and throughout the duration of Contract.The North Hall is a portion of Cow Palace main arena facility and used as an exhibit area, with thefacility's administration offices adjacent. It is primarily rectangular in shape and approximately 49,000 square-feet (345 feet by 140 feet). The North Hall's roof is flat with the nine (9) Clerestory Roofs over exhibit area. Abutting, the Main Roof are two smaller roofed areas, referred to as the Upper Roof and the Penthouse Roof, that are over the Fair's administration offices. The building is of concrete and wood construction. The roofing of the Main Roof and Clerestory is over 30 years old and needs to be replaced to eliminate building leaks and the degradation of the roof deck and the building. The Upper Roof and Penthouse roofs are newer.
