Site work for a water / sewer project in Griffin, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of 7/22/2021 project was already awarded for $1,412,463.10. The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: The work associated with the SCWSFA Plant #1 outfall sewer consists of installation of approximately 3,600 linear feet of 8-inch DIP gravity sewer main, 25 sanitary sewer manholes, 30 linear feet of 4-inch DIP force main, 3 aerial creek crossings and related appurtenances. The OWNER is not obligated to consider a Bidder's proposal if Bidder is not on record with the Issuing Office as having received complete Bidding Documents/Project Manual from the Issuing Office. Spalding County Water & Sewerage Facilities Authority is committed to providing all persons with equal access to its services, programs, activities, education, and employment regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or age. Contractor questions regarding the bid should be directed to Jason Graham via email at jgraham@pcgeng.com. All questions must be submitted in writing. The last day for contractor questions is Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 90 days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 120 days from the date of commencement. Contractor shall mobilize on-site and begin construction within 1-week after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This projects completion is tied to the decommissioning of the SCWSFA wastewater treatment plant #1. PLANT #1 MUST CEASE DISCHARGING EFFLUENT TO CABIN CREEK AND BE DECOMMISSIONED BY 12/1/2021. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond completed on the attached Bid Bond Form with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount at least equal to 110 percent of the contract amount, and a Certification of Insurance will be required. A Certification of Insurance will be required from the low bidder prior to award of the Contract. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for ninety days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
