Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pickering, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bids will be accepted from the list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. RFPQ-20-224. A general, and not necessarily complete or exact, description of the work is as follows: The Work, the construction of the Digester Complex Upgrades and Refurbishments Project at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plan (WPCP) located at 901 McKay Road, Pickering, includes but is not limited to: upgrades to the Digester Complexes (replacement of mixing technology, digester covers, heat exchangers), Waste Gas Burner Building (replacement of waste gas burners), Imported Sludge Receiving Station (division of wet well, expansion of electrical room) and Chamber A (replacement of pumps and piping) and other miscellaneous process and building upgrades and demolitions within the buildings.
