Renovation of a municipal facility in Hastings, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and 24,800-square-foot municipal facility.
This project will replace 24,800 square feet of the twenty-plus year-old existing roof with a new 60 mil fully adhered EPDM roof at the JSC Building in Hastings, MN. The existing roof area slated for replacement is the same area last replaced within the 1998 JSC Renovations/Additions project. Prevailing wages are required on this project. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on January 4, 2021 at its regular meeting, and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The estimated construction cost is $750,000.
