Valley Water requires experienced, and qualified firms to provide construction management services for the Bolsa Fish Passage Improvements Project. The primary objectives of the project include: 1) Restoring steelhead passage downstream of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) bridge, providing access to spawning grounds in the upper reaches of the watershed. 2) Restoring and maintaining natural hydrologic functions, to the extent possible, to the channel and banks of Uvas-Carnadero Creek. 3) Providing maintenance access for riffle-pool restored banks, and vegetation of Uvas-Carnadero Creek downstream of the UPRR bridge. B. Valley Water's intent is to successfully complete the Project while effectively managing and limiting the Project risks, including but not limited to, the cost, schedule, quality, and safety. The Consultant is responsible for providing professional construction management services to achieve unified oversight and management of the Project that meets Valley Water's intent.
