Site work for a water / sewer project in Moorpark, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed project consists of, but not limited to, refurbishing an existing well located within the Tierra Rejada Valley in the City of Moorpark. Major tasks shall include mobilization, evaluation, lowering a new well pump from an elevation of 283' to 383' and converting the existing line shaft oil lube to freshwater flush lube. The proposal shall be submitted, and the work shall be performed by a Class A or C 57 State of California licensed contractor in strict conformance with Specification No. PW 21-03, on file in the District's Engineering Department. All questions concerning the bid document should be directed to the District Engineer, Camrosa Water District at terryc@camrosa.com or (805) 482-8063. The intent of these Contract Documents and Specifications is to rehabilitate and restore production to the Camrosa Water District (District) municipal water supply well designated as Tierra Rejada Well No. 1 utilizing the materials and methods as herein specified. The objective of this project is to lower the well pump from its present setting at a depth of approximately 283 feet to a depth of approximately 383 feet and convert the line shaft lubrication system from oil to a fresh water flush system. All work shall conform to these Specifications, Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81, Water Well Standards: State of California, and Standard Specifications For Public Works Construction, 2018 Edition ("Green Book"). The Contractor shall attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting prior to submittal of his bid. Submittal of this bid indicates the Contractor has visited the site and acknowledges that site access and work areas are restricted. Tierra Rejada Well No. 1 is located approximately 1,000 feet north of the intersection of Moorpark Road and Read Road, in the Tierra Rejada Valley in the County of Ventura, California. The well is located in an area of the County where land uses consist primarily of open space rural housing and agricultural land uses. The well location is shown on Plate 1 - Well Location Map.
