Site work for a transportation facility in Watson Lake, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Watson Lake Airport Runway 09-27 Pavement Rehabilitation km 10.1, Robert Campbell Highway #4 and Highway Construction km 983.7 to km 988.7, Alaska Highway #1 Yukon The project consists of construction of approximately 1678 metres by 45 metres of runway 09-27 at the Watson Lake Airport and construction of approximately 5.0 kilometres of the Alaska Highway #1 from kilometre 983.7 to kilometre 988.7. Work at the Watson Lake Airport will consist of but is not limited to: variable depth milling of the existing runway and taxiway surfaces; application of hot mix asphalt paving; application of temporary and permanent runway paint markings; and airside escorting. Work along the Alaska Highway #1 will consist of but is not limited to: production and application of warm mix asphalt paving; and the temporary removal, storage, and re-installation of concrete roadside barriers. Production of aggregates for asphalt production; supply and application of asphalt prime and tack coatings, project survey and layout, traffic control and environmental compliance are required at both locations.
