A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Renovation of the City of Westminster Municipal Pool Design-Build in accordance with the attached Contract document. Scope of this project consists of design and construction of the City Municipal Pool Renovation and must include: A. Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC design of the new Main Pool, Public Restrooms, Filter Room, Splash Pad, and Lap Learning Pool Structures. B. All necessary permits for the Project Construction from Regulatory Agencies; and, C. Construction of the new Main Pool, construction of Public Restrooms and Filter Room. Construction of Splash Pad and Lap Learning Pool should be included as Add Alternates 1 and 2 Prospective bidders who have questions regarding this Request for Bids should email their questions to Bids.Pool@westgov.com. The closing time for submission of questions is 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. All questions and the associated answers will be posted on the City website electronically. To receive notification that information regarding this Request for Bids has been posted to the City website, bidders are encouraged to register with the City by providing their firm name, name of firm representative, and email address for the firm's point of contact to: Bids.Pool@westgov.com The successful bidder will be required to be bonded to the City in a sum equal to One Hundred (100) percent of the contract price. Such bond shall include Labor, Material Payment, and Performance Bonds. The form of Bond shall be in accordance with that included with these specifications.Bid Bond (10%) The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof. The City reserves the right to waive formalities or technicalities in bids as the interests of the City may require. you are to complete the WORK no later than fifteen (15) months after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor will be required to issue a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the Contract amount for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion.
