Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This project incorporates design and construction to upgrade the HVAC system to replace the air handlers and controls in the Scott Hall main building. Project includes demolition and replacement of eighteen (18) existing air handling units (AHU's) and associated HVAC controls. A return air humidity sensor will be integrated for active humidity control. Work to include ductwork and piping modifications as required to remove and replace existing AHU's, control modifications and a complete test and balance of new air systems. Bids will be received for Single Prime Construction. All proposals shall be lump sum. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Alternate Bids for Preferred Products An open public meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:30 pm in Conference Room 216 of Scott Hall, 2711 Founders Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607. The meeting is to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project. Addendum #1 has been issued. Addendum #2 has been issued.
