Renovation of a municipal facility in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,700-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Description: Project includes renovations to the existing building that houses fuel trucks for aircraft. The building is approximately 8,700 square feet, single story, CMU exterior walls and steel joist roof. Work includes new exterior wall panels, new standing seam roofing and insulation, patch slab control joints, replace lighting, light switches, exit signs and power outlets with explosion proof devices. The Project will include the Discipline(s) of: Concrete, Masonry, Metals, Wood and Plastics, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Finishes, Specialties, Mechanical, Electrical. Bidders Should Act Promptly and Submit All Questions in Writing to Keith Hemingway, Fax 603/271-3515, E-mail Keith.p.hemingway@das.nh.gov All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, before obtaining plans and me specifications, must file with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids, a statement showing their qualifications. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified Companies, corporations or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of 5 State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Govemor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date. Contract award is pending availability of federal funds. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security at Bid and must furnish a 100% payment and performance security prior to execution of contract.
