**As of April 25, 2023, this project has been awarded to Anderson Construction Company for 1,667,174.00** The project consists of demolition, repairs, construction installation, and commissioning work on the existing City of Panama City Vehicle Maintenance Shop at the Citys Public Works Complex, 731 Massalina Drive, Panama City, FL 32401. The work is a mixture of Hurricane Michael damage repairs plus improvements and additions to modernize and harden the shop facility so it can service the Citys growing critical services vehicles fleet, including Police, Fire, Public Works, Solid Waste, and Maintenance vehicles and equipment. The scope of work includes civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, roofing, internal and external building openings and finishes, and vehicle repair equipment installation Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Companys Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Florida and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities an to readvertise. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
