Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

sealed bids for the W. Union Street (N. Franklin St. to River St.) N. Franklin Street (W. Union to King's) and West Jackson Street (N. Franklin to North Main Street) Streetscape Project. The project consists of constructing new sidewalk, ADA Ramps, curb and trees within the City of Wilkes-Barre as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bidders attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wages and salaries in accordance with the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act 442 and contained in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, must be paid throughout the duration of this project. Bid security, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap or family status, and that to the greatest extent feasible utilize project area business located in or owned in substantial part of project area residents. The Greater Wilkes-Barre Industrial Fund reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding. The selection of the successful bidder shall be made in the best interest of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Industrial Fund, as solely determined by the Greater Wilkes-Barre Industrial Fund, and bidders acknowledge this by submitting a bid. Bids may be held by the Greater Wilkes-Barre Industrial Fund for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, before awarding the Contract. In this period of time no Bidder may withdraw their bid. The Greater Wilkes-Barre Industrial Fund does not discriminate of the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, family and handicapped status in employment or the provision of services. This project is funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania acting through the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
