This solicitation is to contract the purchase of Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete products and the purchase of silica sand at a per ton price. The Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete products and the silica sand shall be purchased from the successful bidder on an as needed basis, therefore it is understood by the bidder that no warranty is given or implied as to the quantities that will be purchased daily. The awarded Contractor shall provide to the County all necessary materials, expertise and equipment to supply Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete products and silica sand; meeting or exceeding the specifications herein. Questions regarding this bid must be received through written email or faxed inquiries directed to the designated Procurement Services Representative no later than June 21, 2021 at 2:00PM Local Time. The Bidder, at its sole expense, shall obtain all required federal, state, and local licenses and/or permits required to successfully provide the services contained in a contractual agreement. Include a copy of your current liability insurance, workman's compensation insurance certificate, and a copy of your firm's Occupational License (Reference B10) with your bid submittal. An agreement may be awarded for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the County; with the opportunity for additional one (1) or two (2) year renewal periods when in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, with or without cause, without recourse, to waive technicalities or irregularities, and to accept or reject the bids, or any part thereof, which, in its judgment, best serve the interest of the County.
