As of September 24, 2025, a developer was not selected and this project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: CALL FOR PROPOSALS The purpose of this RFP is to secure offshore wind resources that are Class I renewable energy sources, as defined in CGS § 16-1, that are in the best interest of ratepayers and help the state meet its GHG emissions reduction targets under GWSA,2 promote economic development, and further other energy policy goals set forth in the IRP and the Comprehensive Energy Strategy.
