Construction of a covered, refrigerated outdoor skating rink in Mercier Loiselle park following a design/build/commissioning turnkey method. TIMELINE: Due to significant overruns in the prices submitted to the D/B/C tender compared to available budgets, the City of Mercier decided to evaluate its options in this matter before moving forward. The owner has not accepted any of bids submitted to the tender 2023-50-TP, reference number 1764145, and cancelled it. Future of the project is not determined. The project will be followed if/when it proceeds to a re-tendering stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
