Re-roofing of dobyns-bennett high school for the city of kingsport, which consists of the partial reroof of dobyns-bennett high school, will be received by the procurement manager, at the city hall in conference room 436, 4th floor, 415 broad street, kingsport, tn, until 4:00 p.M., eastern time Work will include demolition of existing roofing material and installation of new single-ply roof membrane on new insulation board as shown on drawing. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids will be considered for award or rejection at a later date. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially completed on or before April 28, 2023 based on a Notice to Proceed of January 3, 2022, and Final Completion shall be achieved within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after Substantial Completion. Work will inlcude removal of existing roofing and ballast, installation of new fully adhered single-ply EPDM roof membrane on new polyisocyanurate insulation board (thickness shown on drawings) on existing decking as shown on drawings. B. Certain roof exhaust fans, rooftop mechanical equipment or roof scuttles, will require new nailers to raise units to obtain a minimum height above new finish roof as shown on details.
