The Plainfield Park District requires all Bidders to comply with all provisions of the Prevailing Wage Ordinance # (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et.seq.). This Ordinance specifies that no less than the General Prevailing Rate of Wages as found by the Park District or Department of Labor or determined by a court on review shall be paid for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, "Open Space Lands Acquisition & Development" (OSLAD) grant program. The Plainfield Park District ("Owner" or "Park District") reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, and/or to accept only portions of a bid and reject the remainder.
