Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rising Sun, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Rising Sun is seeking a qualified contractor to perform limited reconstruction of road pavement (milling and HMA overlay) and sections of sidewalk and curbing along the project limits for the following streets/locations, as applicable: Louise Court, Pearl Street, Turtleback Court, Mason Runn Lane, and Mount Street. The contract will require the provision of all labor, material, equipment, and other necessary resources to successfully complete all work to the Town s satisfaction and according to the referenced specifications and procedures. The contractor shall be required to commence work no later than ten (10) days from the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be completed within Seventy-Five (75) consecutive calendar days from the commencement date. QUESTIONS Questions regarding this project should be directed in writing by Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM to Scott Koenig via email: scott.koenig@kci.com. All items listed on the Contractor Bid Checklist are to be completed and submitted by this time. No bid proposal will be accepted after the scheduled bid opening. Electronically submitted bids will not be accepted. The Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of Rising Sun reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
