Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Summit, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
A Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Summit. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of any and all appli- cable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to(Statement of Ownership Disclosure) (Busi- ness Registration), and the City's adopted minimum standard insurance requirements. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects, and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official adver- tising unaccompanied by such statement of price. All work must be completed by October 1, 2021. The major construction items of this project are: ITEM 13 - GRANITE CURB 1,600 LF ITEM 14 - CONCRETE SIDEWALK, 4" THICK 200 SY ITEM 19 - HOT MIX ASPHALT 9.5M64 SURFACE COURSE 425 TONS
