Site work for a water / sewer project in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work for Contract 2021-1 is generally described to include construction of approximately 1,350 feet of 2 inch HDPE low pressure sanitary sewer force main and 7 residential grinder pump systems. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Municipal Authority of Middleboro, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. No Bid security may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after date of Bid opening. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Clarification Deadline: 6/23/2021 4:00 PM There will be no pre-bid conference for this project.
