Project consists of removing and disposing of the existing air filter system, furnishing and installing a new desiccant air dryer system that is compatible with existing air compressor, existing 80-gallon vertical tank, and existing air-cooled aftercooler. Existing equipment is housed in a shed at the end of a cul-de-sac on 260yh Street, east of Jay Avenue intersection, near Allison, Butler County Iowa. Proposal Guarantee: $0 Completion Date: 8/31/2021 Project Description: This project consists of removing and disposing of the existing air filter system and installing a new heatless desiccant air dryer system that is compatible with the existing air compressor, existing 80-gallon vertical tank, and existing air cooled aftercooler. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project as specified below and in the contract documents. Special Provisions: The new desiccant air dryer system shall be compatible with the existing equipment, and consist of, at a minimum, the following items: o Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer - this shall be the DA40IM Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer, complete with desiccant dryer prefilter, afterfilter, with DAIM Series Energy Management System option, as manufactured by Ingersoll Rand, or approved equal; o 60 gallon vertical tank, 200 PSIG max. allowable working pressure, enamel coated, complete, including a liquid filled pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, and electric drain valve; o Air pressure regulator - this shall be the Super Duty Compressed Air System Regulator including a pressure gauge; as manufactured by Ingersoll Rand, or approved equal o Condensate Oil Water Separator - this shall be the PSG-7 Series as manufactured by Ingersoll Rand, or approved equal; o Miscellaneous piping, electrical, and hardware necessary to connect existing equipment and new equipment. All equipment substitutions shall be approved by the DNR prior to bid. All compressed air piping and associated hardware shall be copper, brass, or bronze.
