Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Mesa, Arizona. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of May 26, 2022 "Offerors are hereby notified that the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority has cancelled the above referenced Invitation For Bid." There will be plans to re-bid this project at a future date. The Taxiway W Rehabilitation project at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (PMGA) is intended to address the existing pavement distresses and failing pavement areas that were identified as part of a previous Pavement Inspection and subsequent Report. To mitigate the existing issues previously identified, it has been determined that portions of the existing Taxiway W pavements (a section at the south end of the taxiway, and a smaller section located near the Taxiway V intersection) will require full PCC panel replacements, and localized spall/patch/crack distresses will also be rehabilitated per the appropriate methodology, throughout Taxiway W, as shown in the Project Plans and details Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check or surety bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion no later than a total of 100 Calendar Days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. 3.2.1 Base Bid (Phase 1A and Phase 1B) a. Phase 1A Substantial Completion - 32 Days b. Phase 1B Substantial Completion - 32 Days 3.2.2 Add Alt No. 1 (Phase 1C) a. Phase 1C Substantial Completion - 21 Days 3.2.3 Add Alt No. 2 (Phase 2) a. Phase 2 Substantial Completion - 15 Days The following Liquidated Damages apply: 1. Substantial Completion of Base Bid (Phase 1A and 1B, 64 Calendar Days) - $1,500 per Day 2. Substantial Completion of Add Alt No. 1 (Phase 1C, 21 Calendar Days) - $1,500 per Day 3. Substantial Completion of Add Alt No. 2 (Phase 2, 15 Calendar Days) - $1,500 per Day Final Completion within thirty (30) Calendar Days of Substantial Completion of the project - $1,500 per Day
