**As of January 12, 2024, project was awarded to Fitzgerald Excavating and Trucking Inc. awarded amount is $291,615.20** This project make a trail connection to the East Cannon River Trail. This connection is on the City's planned walking and biking network, and will provide a connection to the south commercial district in Northfield LOCATION: From the Honey locust Drive cul-de-sac, located west of Cannon Road, to the existing East Cannon River trail. A project alternate is included for bidding that is located on Honey locust Drive from TH 3 to Gleason Court and from Cannon Road to the Honey locust Drive cul-de-sac. TYPE OF WORK: Box Culvert Construction, Trail Construction, Restoration The Major Items of Work Are Approximately: 2 EA 8x4 Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Section 46 Lf 8x4 Precast Concrete Box Culvert 1,100 SF Concrete Walk 16,000 SF Bituminous Walk 1 LS Temporary Stream Diversion System Bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the City of Northfield City Clerk. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof.
