The Contractor will furnish all labor, material, equipment and qualified supervision to fertilize various facilities. The Contractor must be qualified and properly licensed to apply the necessary chemicals to fertilize the facilities as needed. The lawn fertilization application shall include a fast and slow release nitrogen and pre and post emergent herbicide to control existing weeds and to prevent future weeds. Materials used by the contractor shall conform to local, state, and federal regulations. Application of fertilizer shall be as follows: 2 lbs. of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. feet on Bermuda grass areas. 1 lb. of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. feet on other grasses. A boom sprayer with liquid fertilizer is required to apply the fertilizer. Any questions pertaining to this bid should be directed to Netty Orellana at Fincontracts@kenner.la.us. Any corrections to portions of the bid form that are completed by the bidder must be initialed. The City of Kenner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and waive informalities. However, the provisions and requirements of the Louisiana Public Bid law, those stated in the advertisement for bids, those provided in the bid form and written specifications shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by the City of Kenner.
