This project generally includes the slip-lining of an existing 44" x 72" arch pipe that conveys stormwater runoff from One-Mile Creek across 8th Street South in Wisconsin Rapids. Proposed underground work includes, but not limited to, removals, excavation/trenching, bypass pumping, installation of proposed slip-lining pipe, construction of cast-in-place structures, salvaging/re-installation of existing 60" RCP storm sewer, installation of new 60" CMP storm sewer (procured and provided by City), backfilling/compaction of all trench/pit areas, and placement and rough-grading of base course for all disturbed parking lots, driveways, paved terraces, sidewalks, and concrete pavement patch areas. Major quantities include approximately: 45 LF Remove, Salvage, & Re-Install 60" RCP 40 LF Install 60" CMP Storm Sewer 120 LF Clean & Inspect Existing 44" x 72" CMP Arch Storm Sewer 85 LF Install 45" Equivalent UltraFlo Arch Liner Pipe(Slipline) 35 LF Install 45" Equivalent UltraFlo Arch Liner Pipe(Open-Cut) 682 SY 8" Base Aggregate Dense, 1-1/4" with pavement removal Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to proceed as rapidly as possible to completion. All work must be completed within 50 calendar days of the date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work within 50 calendar days of the date stated in the Notice to Proceed, will cause the successful bidder to be assessed liquidated damages at the rate of $500 per day until completed. This section shall consist of furnishing all the materials and labor necessary to construct or reconstruct concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, and reinforced concrete pavement.
