Renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

The scope of work involves the renovation of the Vivarium spaces in Science 1 (Perna). The scope includes, but is not limited to: Adding individual humidification units to each room, including associated DI piping, DCW piping for drain coolers and drain piping. BMS System shall integrate with humidifier controls. Electrical to provide power to support humidifier operation. Existing Phoenix Air Valves to remain, BMS controls to be updated. The hot water control valves associated with supply air valves to be replaced and controlled by BMS. Replace cold room door seals. Controls to be updated overall in vivarium. Cold room cooler controls to be modified to be integrated into BMS system. Humidity, airflow and temperature to be controlled and coordinated by BMS with updated sequence of operation. Air valves to be controlled by BMS to maintain space pressurization. Room humidity and temperature displays for each room to be updated and tied into BMS. BMS to have capability to track and trend data as needed by end users. All work on this Contract is to start after August 16, 2021. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and service disabled veteran owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The University hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 16% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 14% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation. Please include your MWBE Utilization (Form 7557-107) and EEO Staffing (7557-108) Plans, along with the EEO Policy Statement (Form 7557-104) with your Bid Proposal documents.
