Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of the construction of approximately 727 LF of new aircraft rated PCC taxiway pavement with associated lighting, signage, drainage and utilities between existing Taxiway A and a proposed aircraft apron. The project also includes the installation of approximately 758 LF of jet blast deflector fence. Each sealed Bid shall be accompanied by an irrevocable Bank Letter of Credit, or satisfactory Bid Bond (see Attachment #8) with good corporate surety, in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid, payable without condition to the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, to guarantee that if the Bidder's offer results in an Award, the Bidder will furnish all required bonds, insurance certificate(s) and insurance policy(ies) within ten Calendar Days after the date Notice of Award is given, and enter into the Contract within thirty (30) days after Notice of Award is given. The bidder/proposer shall make good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract 8.7 (8.7%) percent of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE).
