Brunswick County is soliciting proposals from firms and businesses to provide collection, transportation, recycling, and/or disposal of non-hazardous used oil, fuel, oil filters, antifreeze, and oily wastewater collected and stockpiled at the site of the Brunswick County landfill facility in Bolivia, North Carolina. The County received approximately 3,070 gallons of used oil and 226 gallons of antifreeze at the Countys landfill facility during FY2019-2020. The County desires proposals from firms and businesses to provide collection, transportation, recycling, and/or disposal of non-hazardous used oil, fuel, oil filters, antifreeze, and oily wastewater. Questions or requests for further information regarding this Request for Proposal shall be submitted in writing to the attention of Heather Murray, Assistant Director of Administration, P.O. Box 249, Bolivia, NC 28422 or by email to heather.murray@brunswickcountync.gov no later than 4:00 pm ET on July 14, 2021. A copy of all questions, further clarifications and answers will be made in the form of an Addendum to this Request for Proposal and will be provided to all contractors and posted on the County website The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
