Site work for a water / sewer project in Plainfield, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work for which proposals are to be received includes furnishing and installing approximately 1,520 feet of 16-inch Ductile Iron water main, 576 feet of 30-inch HDPE DR 11 casing and 18-inch HDPE DR 11 carrier, and all associated water main appurtenances as shown on the Contract Documents. The first section of work begins near Gateway Drive north of the I-70/S.R.-267 Interchange and continues west along the I-70 north right-of-way fence before turning south where water main casing and carrier is to be installed via directional drill under I-70 and terminating on the south side of I-70. The second section of work begins near the intersection of Camby Rd. and S.R.-267 and continues east along the south side of Camby Rd. before terminating just east of C.R. 875. This portion of work includes the installation of water main casing and carrier via directional drill under S.R-267. Copies of the Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Butler, Fairman, and Seufert, Inc., 8450 Westfield Blvd., Suite 300, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. Plan holders must recognize that they will be notified of each addendum via email and will be required to electronically download addendum content via file transfer protocol (FTP) regardless of initial document delivery method chosen. Obtaining Contract Documents at the Issuing Office of the Engineer ensures notification of any addenda. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms and in the order as identified and contained in the Contract Documents obtainable from the offices as stated above. Each bid shall be accompanied by a complete Form No. 96 (latest revision) and acceptable Bid Security. Any bid not accompanied by the above-required items shall be deemed to be a non-responsive bid. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for the receiving of bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of Huntington Utilities or to reject all bids BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Board of Public Works and Safety or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears on the current Treasury Department Circular 570. BONDS: A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded. INDIANA REQUIREMENTS: Standard Questionnaire Form 96 (latest revision), completely filled out and signed, including attachment of Contractors Financial Statement as stipulated in Section III.
