Demolition and site work for a stadium in Waterloo, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
Sloane Wallace Stadium Demolition includes the following Work: 1. Demolition of Sloane Wallace Stadium. There are two structures to be demolished on site: The stadium and the Bleachers. There are below grade structures as well. The playground, small storage building, and field are to remain and be protected from damage. Work will require coordination with utility terminations and road closures. A single proposal is requested for Demolition work of the buildings, termination of utilities, site grading and landscaping. Demolition of Sloane Wallace Stadium includes the following work: Demolition of the existing stadium buildings and out-buildings including all foundations and tunnels; termination of all utilities; re-grading the site; installation of new grass. It is anticipated that contracts for construction will be awarded approximately July 1, 2021. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities is reserved by the School District. By virtue of Statutory Authority, the bidder shall give preference to Iowa Domestic Labor and products produced with the State of Iowa according to the provisions of the 1991 code of Iowa.
