Site work and paving for a road / highway in St George, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Mobilization, Demobilization, Temporary Facilities, Administrative Items, Material Testing, and Public Information. This includes all cost, labor, equipment, and materials associated with this project not specifically covered in the bid items below. This also includes the cost of quality control, material testing, obtaining permits needed for construction, and Public Information. The Public Information provided by the Contractor will consist of contacting businesses or homes that front or access their property from the project and notifying them of the construction schedule prior to construction. Traffic Control and Coordinate Striping with the St. George City Crews. This includes all cost, labor, equipment, and materials needed to set up, maintain, and remove Traffic Control. The traffic control shall meet MUTCD Standards. St. George City Crews will provide striping after placement of the slurry if necessary. This item also includes the cost of coordinating striping with the City and leaving the traffic control and/or tabbing in place until the final striping is placed up to 14 days. Cleaning. This includes all cost, labor, equipment, and materials required to thoroughly clean the existing asphalt surfaces prior to placing the slurry seal on the asphalt surface in accordance with the plans and specifications. Contractor will be paid for one cleaning only. Cleaning cannot be completed more than 72 hours prior to slurry application. Type II Slurry. This includes all cost, labor, equipment, and materials needed to apply Slurry to the existing asphalt. This item includes preparing the roadway, roughing of pavement markings (no roughing / removal of lane striping required), stop bars, cross walk and stop bar markers. This item includes the covering and protection of manholes and concrete collars, valve boxes and concrete collars, survey monuments and concrete collars, etc. during slurry application. Minimum application rate 17#/sq. yd. Completed on or before October 22, 2021. Main Street - Tabernacle to Bluff Street Type II Slurry. This includes all cost, labor, equipment, and materials needed to apply Slurry to the existing asphalt. This item includes preparing the roadway, roughing of pavement markings (no roughing / removal of lane striping required), stop bars, cross walk and stop bar markers. This item includes the covering and protection of manholes and concrete collars, valve boxes and concrete collars, survey monuments and concrete collars, etc. during slurry application. Minimum application rate 17#/sq. yd. Completed on or before August 15, 2021.
