Site work and renovation of a civil project in Oceanside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Per the Contracts Administrator award information will not be available till February 2022 The project consists of designing and constructing the El Corazon Lift Station and the Oceanside Mesa Garrison Force Main, and replacements to portions of the Mission Avenue Lift Station Force Main. Replacement of the portions of Land Outfall is optional scope items to be determined at the City's discretion. The PROJECT consists of the design and construction of the ECLS and the OMG Force Main. Replacements to portions of the MALS Force Main and Land Outfall are options scope items to be determined at the City's discretion. The PROJECT is anticipated to have a construction cost ranging from $75 to $90 Million. Provided below is a summary of each component of the PROJECT from north to south. Figure 1 presents the location of the PROJECT. The selected Design-Builder will be responsible for developing the final scope and costs. 1) Approximately 15,000 feet of 36" OMG Force Main from SLRWRF to the existing Tunnel. 2) Approximately 15,000 feet of 36" Land Outfall from SLRWRF to the existing Tunnel. (Optional) 3) Approximately 10,000 feet of 24" MALS Force Main from SLRWRF to MALS. 4) Tie in of OMG Force Main to existing 36" Combined Force Main prior to Tunnel(north-end). 5) Tie in of new Land Outfall to existing 24" Land Outfall prior to Tunnel (north-end) (Optional). 6) Miscellaneous piping and valving to convert existing slip-lined Gravity Main through Tunnel into New Pressurized 22" HDPE Bypass Pipeline 7) No work to be performed in the Tunnel. All questions and requests for information related to the Request for Qualification (RFQ) must be submitted via email as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM. Answers to relevant questions will be issued via an addendum to the RFQ. No answers will be given on an individual basis, and oral and telephonic inquiries will not receive a response. All the questions should be submitted electronically via email to the two (2) CITY contacts provided below: Mabel Uyeda - muyeda@oceansideca.org Kirill Dolinskiy - kdolinskiy@oceansideca.org The PROJECT is anticipated to have an overall cost ranging from $75 to $95 Million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Approximately 1,000 feet of new 30" Force Main from Existing 36"/42" Force Main at Mesa Drive and Garrison Street to ECLS. New ECLS, with ability to pump approximately 5 million gallons per day (mgd), expandable to 7 mgd. The anticipated method of pump operation is constant speed. The CITY anticipates that the immersible pumps will be chopper pumps in a dry-pit installation arrangement.
