Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Project consists of: A four-classroom addition to an existing and occupied Marathon Elementary School (PreK- 1), built in 2018. The project will be adding approximately +-7,000sqft of new construction. The addition foundation is poured in place concrete footings and foundation walls with steel reinforcement tied into the existing building. The partitions are metal stud and drywall throughout the addition The exterior envelope predominantly consists of brick veneer cladding at the exterior walls that will match the existing brick with new aluminum windows and storefront, also to match, TPO roofing membrane. Some system specifics are: New RTU to serve the addition, tying systems into existing, such as BDA, lightning protection, electrical, plumbing and fire protection Some architectural finishes are: ACT ceiling at classrooms and corridors, resilient flooring at Corridors and Classrooms, porcelain tile at Toilet Rooms. The sitework will consist of a new underground stormwater infiltration system, new landscaping elements such as: grass, planters and garden beds.
