Site work and paving for a civil project in Libertyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of replacement of approximately 2,800 feet of 8" ductile iron water main, service line replacements, pavement patching and restoration associated with the project. Alternate #1 - Oak Street work consists of replacement of approximately 450 feet of 8" ductile iron water main, service line replacements, pavement patching and restoration associated with the project. State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor Registration is required. The Village of Libertyville reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to award all or part of a contract, and to make such awards as are in the best interests of the Village of Libertyville. Factors other than price which will be considered in awarding or rejecting bids shall include the results of reference contacts, and the quality of the bidder's performance on prior projects, if any, in the judgment of the Village of Libertyville. All proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of 60 days. Unless all bids are rejected, the contract award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work under this Contract as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and the requirements of the Bidding Documents. Start Date: Work is anticipated to start as soon as practical on or after August 2, 2021. Final Completion by end of the work day on Monday, October 11, 2021. Final Completion of Alternate #1 by end of the work day on Monday, October 25, 2021.
