Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Scarborough, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The purpose of the RFT is to obtain construction services for Request For Tenders For Bridge Rehabilitation, Road Reconstruction and Sidewalk Construction on Military Trail. The Supplier must have the following experience to be considered for award of the Contract: a. Must have completed and must have achieved Substantial Completion within the meaning of the Construction Act for a minimum of three (3) similar linear infrastructure projects completed between 2016 and 2020, with a minimum value of $10,000,000.00 Canadian dollars each (excluding taxes) as General Contractor involving replacement of water main and fire hydrants in particular. At least one of these projects must include municipal work including coordination with operations including tie in with existing systems; and b. Must have completed a minimum of three (3) similar Local Road Reconstruction Contracts with a minimum value of $1,000,000.00 Canadian dollars each (excluding taxes) between 2016 and 2020 which includes the construction of retaining wall systems, in particular Armour Stone Walls and Vegetated Reinforced Soil Slope (RSS) Walls c. Toronto Hydro Electrical work as per Contract Drawings (hydro pole relocation) must be done by a Toronto Hydro pre-approved firm. d. Must have completed and achieved Substantial Completion on a minimum of three (3) similar bridge rehabilitation Contracts with a minimum value of $2,000,000.00 Canadian dollars (excluding taxes) between 2016 and 2020. At least one of the bridges must be a road bridge over a watercourse. The Supplier must provide reference projects for the purpose of confirming the Supplier's experience and track record of success. The Supplier shall provide the requested references for clients who have obtained construction services similar to those required for the Project from the Supplier in the last five (5) years. Failure to provide verifiable experience shall result in the bid being declared non-compliant. Duration of Contract is from July 1 2021 to September 2022.
