Renovation of a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Goals for minority participation: 39.5% Goals for female participation: 6.9% SITE VISIT A site visit is scheduled for April 27, 2022 at 0900 EDT. All participants must submit interest in writing to the Contract Specialist (CS), Mr. Sam Culberth at Sam.G.Culberth@faa.gov and courtesy copy Ms. Thuylinh TranNguyen at Thuylinh.T.TranNguyen@faa.gov, no later than April 22, 2022 by 1500 EDT. Participants must receive approval from CS/CO to participate in site visit. Participants showing up without prior approval will not be permitted to attend the site visit. Participants must adhere to the L4 - FAA Mask Mandate attached to this amendment. Mask covering is required inside and outside of the FAA facility during the site visit. All questions regarding the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the SIR's instruction in clause L.5 Solicitation Questions. The FAA assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the contractor based on the information received by any means other than in writing from the Contracting Officer. The FAA does not assume responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions, which can affect the work, by any of its officers or agents before the execution of this contract, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in the contract. L.4 Proposal Due Date Proposals are due May 11, 2022 by 1500 EST. All offers will be received electronically, via email to Thuylinh.T.TranNguyen@faa.gov. Hand delivered offers will not be accepted. L.5 SOLICITATION QUESTIONS All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Sam.G.Culberth@faa.gov. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The requestor must provide a company name, point-of -contact name, as well as a return e-mail address. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. QUESTIONS ARE DUE by May 2, 2022 by 1500 EST. L.6 SECTION L ATTACHMENTS a. Attch L1 - Standard Form 24, Bid Bond b. Attch L2 - Past Performance Survey c. Attch L3 - Price Proposal (All elements on price proposal must be submitted on a Firm-Fixed-Price d. Attch L4 - FAA Form 7460 - Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration (This attachment is provided for informational purposes only. This process is time consuming and must be factored into the construction schedule.) L.7 CONDITIONS The site conditions for this project are from 2017. The Contractor must field verify the existing project conditions prior to the preparation of submittals to include all shop drawings. L.8 SUBMITTALS The Contractor must submit a scaffold plan in compliance with OSHA standards. In the event the Contractor requires the use of a swing stage, the Contractor must be responsible for providing anchor certifications. L.9 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $300,000 and $600,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
