Site work for a civil project in Barrie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.

The City of Barrie has an existing watermain located under the Highway 400, approximately 1,100m south of Essa Road, extending from property line to property line. This watermain is currently in conflict with proposed highway construction works and requires relocation. As part of this project, the successful contractor will install a new 300mm watermain under the Highway 400 at a lower depth than the existing using trenchless technologies, connect to the existing watermain at the property limits and abandon the old portion of watermain no longer required. The project is expected to be tendered in June 2021, with an expected contract completion of November 2021. Question Deadline: Wed Jun 30, 2021 2:00:00 PM (EDT) Documents are available at: https://barrie.bidsandtenders.ca/
