The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Site: loading dock bumper replacement, regrade soil, remove vegetative growth. 2. Concrete Work: underpinning, repair, patch, replace, clean, seal. 3. Masonry: repoint, reair, replace, clean, seal stone and brick. 4. Metal: replace panels, reinstall, railing, cane rail, replace stair treads and deck, repair flashing. 5. Thermal & Moisture Protection: waterproof coating, replace sealant, clean EIFS. 6. Wood: replace wood boards. 7. Doors & Windows: replace mullion cover, molding, door/frame, repair window. 8. Paint: repaint railings, mechanical louvers, door frames, canopy, overhang. The project description is given only for the purpose of acquainting the Bidders with the Project and is not intended to give the Bidders a complete description of all the Work or materials. All dimensions and existing conditions are to be verified by the Bidder; dimensions shown on the drawings are taken from original building drawings. Coordinate all work with the Architect/Engineer and Owner. Provide a detailed schedule for the project prior to beginning work, and update weekly. The Contractor is responsible for the protection of the adjacent building areas and site. The interior of the building will be occupied by the owner during the Project. The work items described below correlate to the schedules on the drawings. The work items are described more generally, as the work scope is specific to buildings, and is further detailed in the "Description of Work" on the first drawing sheet for each building.
