Renovation of a medical facility in Houma, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Bidder shall agree to fully complete the contract within One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days, subject to such extensions as may be granted under Paragraph 8.3, in the General Conditions and the Supplementary Conditions, and acknowledges that this construction time will start on or before the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner. Project Identification: 1. This project consists of the replacement of air handling unit number 13. This unit is located in the interstitial area. 2. Project Location: 8166 Main Street, Houma, Louisiana A. Removal of existing construction in the building as designated or required to facilitate new construction. B. Scope of demolition work is shown in the drawings. C. New Mechanical and Electrical systems are to be connected to existing Hospital services. Make connections and alteration to existing services as required, keeping existing services within the Hospital in operation, when possible. Coordinate all shut-downs of services with the Owner and Mechanical Engineer.
