Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Arlington, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Contractor to construct a 12 ft. x 12 ft. Lawn Care Equipment Storage Shed to house various lawn equipment for Shelby County Schools personnel. The shed will be constructed with 8" galvanized coated CMU block with an 8 ft. overhead coiling door w/ secured locking capabilities. Interior rear of the shed will include wood shelving. See attached Floor Plan, Drawing A and Building Section, Drawing B for additional specifications. See School Locations spreadsheet for school names and addresses of the 125 schools. SCBE has set a Minority or Woman-owned Business Enterprises goal of 28.1% for this project, the Bidder shall take affirmative action to ensure that minority-owned and women-owned businesses, which have been certified by the City of Memphis, Shelby County Government and/or Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, are utilized when possible as sources of supplies, equipment, construction and services for Shelby County Schools. Please see Appendix I - MINORITY AND WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES UTILIZATION. All relative forms in Appendix I must be completed and submitted with the bid. If the relative forms are not completed and submitted with the bid, the bid will be an invalid bid. Please note that the non-expired certificate is to be submitted with the bid. The anticipated terms of this contract shall be (1) year(s). The work shall begin after issuance of the executed contract and purchase order release. Estimated start time to be September 1, 2021. Completion date will be October 1, 2021. The successful Bidder accepts this contract with the understanding that should they fail to complete the work/delivery in an acceptable manner and in the time stated, shall be subject to the payment of liquidated damages as stated in the bid document. Liquidated damages for this project are as follows: $250.00 / per day completion deadline missed.
