Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fernley, Nevada. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,000-seat educational facility.
*As of January 7, 2022, a construction manager has been awarded. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Lyon County School District (LCSD) to hire and contract with a qualified Construction Manager at Risk to perform pre-construction and construction services for the proposed Fernley High School Gymnasium, Dining Commons, and Kitchen project located in Fernley, Nevada. The proposed and complete scope of work will be identified and created in conjunction with the selected Architect and design team. Project Description: The Lyon County School District Board of Trustees has approved plans to design and construct a gymnasium along with a dining commons and kitchen as a single structure at Fernley High School. The gymnasium will seat approximately 2,000 people in the bleachers and have 2-3 full size basketball courts. The kitchen and dining commons will serve approximately 500 meals per day in two shifts.
